Data controller
Sandstream AB, company registration number 559399-3099, is the controller for the processing described here. You can reach us via the contact page.
What data, and why
- Orders: name, address, email, phone and order details. We need them to fulfil the purchase (contract) and for our accounts (legal obligation).
- Newsletter: your email address, if you have signed up and confirmed via the link in the email (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Customer account: the details in your account if you sign in (contract).
- Customer service: what you write to us (legitimate interest in being able to reply).
- Statistics: how the website is used, only if you have accepted it in the cookie banner (consent).
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We use the following processors:
- Shopify for the shop, checkout, customer accounts and newsletter. Shopify may transfer data to countries outside the EU/EEA on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- Payment services: Shopify Payments for card payments, and Klarna. Klarna is an independent controller for its own credit assessment.
- Carriers that deliver your parcel and receive your name, address and contact details for that purpose.
How long
Order details are kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (bokföringslagen). Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Other data for as long as it is needed for its purpose.
Cookies
We use necessary cookies so that the bag, checkout and sign-in work. These do not require consent. Cookies for statistics are only set if you have accepted them in the banner shown on your first visit. We use no advertising pixels today. You can change your choice by clearing cookies in your browser, and the banner will appear again.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected, erased or moved, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. Get in touch and we will help. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY), imy.se.
